The Coalition for Children is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization founded by Dr. Sherryll Kraizer in 1982. The mission of the Coalition for Children is enhancing the well-being of children, families and society by providing positive, effective, multidisciplinary and culturally diverse abuse and bullying prevention programming in collaboration with other organizations and individuals.
The Coalition for Children has, for the past thirty years, participated in the evolution of a clear set of guidelines for prevention programs, what makes them effective, what works and what doesn’t. We now know that child abuse is preventable through a series of committed on-going actions on the part of communities, government, schools and families.
We deployed a new website on a WordPress CMS. Design, navigation taxonomy, searchability and social integration were key areas of focus. Sherryll’s traffic increased by several hundred percent, and her client load skyrocketed.
“For years, I had an informative but static website that generated dribbles and drabs of inquiries. Then I was approached by DenverMind Media. We had an exploratory meeting, they conducted a consumer survey of my target audience and we commenced a total redesign. They worked fast, collaboratively and with commitment to my goals. Not only is the site dynamic, interesting and classy, my business tripled in the first week the site was up and has continued to do well. One critical element for ongoing success was the training DMM provided so I can update, post blogs or share resources on the fly. This has kept my search rating up and my customers returning to see what’s new.”
